The musician, who in the past has shared the stage with Oliver “Samanyanga” Mtukudzi, is riding high on a number of songs that are part of his forthcoming album.
These include Bonde, a song that encourages people to use protection, and Ndisiye Ndiende, a jam that talks of a woman wanting out of a relationship due to fake promises from her lover. Another track that is sending Chinhoyi fans into delirium each time it is belted out during live shows is Tirwirei, which takes workers to the dance floor as it highlights challenges they face due to the economic meltdown.
In an interview, Terry Bliss said his fans should brace for brighter days and more fun as he prepares to put together his new album.
“I want to assure my fans that this year I have a very big bag of tricks that I will dig into each time I go on stage,” he said.
“They must just be patient for the new album that we are also working on. This festive season I have plans for a countrywide tour to touch base with all my fans, so it is going to be big fun.”
The jazz crooner has grown from strength-to-strength and has won several accolades both on the local and international scene.
