The album, which is Bande’s eighth, addresses both Christians and non-Christians as it provides soothing remedies to one’s situations in life.

In an interview with The Standard Style on Thursday, he said his enormous assignment was to minister through music.

“I want fans to understand the Bible. I preach the Bible through songs so that the audience can understand the Word,” he said.

“The album is very unique because it has anointment. It is full of grace. This grace is overflowing and it is important for the fans to embrace this grace.”

The 10-track album, which is laden with rich and deep biblical undertones, already has two songs that are doing well on the charts.

The song Mai Tino is making waves on the Radio Zimbabwe Coca-Cola Top 20 while Ndoda Mwari is highly competitive on the Radio Zimbabwe Gospel 20 show.

Other songs include Kugara Murudo, Garai Nesu, My Saviour and Ndafunga Gorogota.

The album winds up with Vakadzi Vakasiyana, Simba Remunamato, Mhepo Mhuka and Munoshamisa.

“l am very overwhelmed by the response from the fans. Every song has its teaching and meaning and l think that has been the best ingredient,” said Bande.

The Honde Valley-born musician is well-known for plug tracks that include Uchandiramba Peter, which became a proverbial national anthem, Muimba YaMwari, and Zodzo from previous albums and the latest Mhinduro Inyasha has found its way into the mainstream gospel music scene.

“I am still aiming for more and my fans should expect more from me. I owe this to my growing fan base that gives me great support. They always complement my songs as they appreciate the messages contained in the songs,” he said.

However, behind Bande’s musical success lies a man called Munei Nyoni who has proved to be his credible manager.

Nyoni has sharpened Bande’s flowering career and has described the artiste as having matured as a musician.

“His music is becoming richer and deeper with each release. His lyrics and message have appealed to and touched many souls,” said Nyoni.

Bande has released seven albums — Old and New Testament, Discover to Recovery and The Scriptures, Zvakagara Zvakadaro, ZvaMwari and Zvakaoma Kudaro.
