Gweru gospel musician Tinomutenda Chihora has once again displayed his artistic prowess and love for originality through his single titled Page, which he releases today.
Page is Chihora’s follow-up project to the successful The Fabrics of Humanity, a 13-track album that was released early this year. The album, which is loaded with hard-hitting lyrics, contains the popular track Sadza Nedovi.
His other album Zvinogozha, released in 2018 and carries the hit Mweya Wechinono, was a masterpiece, thanks to the Mberengwa-born musician’s creativity and love for originality.
“Life goes through phases and each person views the same phase differently so I chose to call this time we are going through a page,” Chihora said.
“The truth, however, is that whenever one is going through a down time, one always wish that the situation should pass as quickly as possible.
“I would like to influence the festive season discourse by toasting it with some gospel flavours just to blow away the Covid-19 weights from people’s shoulders.
“I have knitted the song in simple sing-along style for it to suit all age groups as well as people from different backgrounds!

Chihora, a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Zimbabwe, early this year joined hands with revered musician and producer Clive “Mono” Mukundu to release a single titled The Emotional Cum-Spiritual Vaccine, which was a recreation of Chihora’s previous track titled Mwari Vachadzoka.
The jazz-flavoured track was recorded at Monolio Studio in Harare.
