Socialite Ndoro memorial on cards

Gospel prodigy, Takesure Zamar will next Saturday perform at the late celebrity Rugare April Ndoro’s memorial to be held in Zviyambe, Wedza.

Ndoro (29) succumbed to Covid-19 in October while on a business trip in South Africa.

She was the CEO of Glow Envy Zimbabwe, a company which deals with beauty and skin care products, which are quite popular among young women and celebrities in the country.

The late businesswoman was an avid fan of Zamar, hence the move by the family to engage the musician on the day.

A family member and renowned businessman, Dunmore Mutyambizi said the occasion is meant to celebrate the life of the late socialite.

“We are inviting friends and family members to this special occasion where we will be remembering the time we had with our beloved departed Rugare. It is more of reminiscing her life and the ideals she lived for. She was a fun loving person, God-fearing and people loving person. The void she left cannot be filled by anything or anyone, but we take a leaf from what she lived up for.

“She was a hardworking person. Her dream project and brainchild, the leading skin care brand Glow Envy Zimbabwe lives on. We will make sure that her dream shall remain alive. We have engaged Takesure Zamar, her favourite gospel musician to minister in song and worship on the day. All Covid protocols shall be adhered to at this private family and friends event,” he added.

There will be screening of video tributes at this private family event which will also feature the who is who in the beauty industry

A Seventh Day Adventist choral group The Rock will also perform at the memorial service to be held at the family farm.

Born on 19 July 1992, Ndoro was the last born in a family of 10 children.

She founded the Glow Envy Zimbabwe Company and moulded it into a formidable brand in and outside Zimbabwe.
